To our Oma, Mother and Wife. The day you left us with empty hearts and all of us seeking answers, why you were taken from us so quickly still has us asking why? In the year since your passing the pain of losing you has not eased with time. You carried yourself with dignity throughout your sickness as you did in life. With a sense of quiet pride and resolve. You faced your mortality in the same dignified manner, and for that we are so proud of you. But we also know you are in a better place and at peace now. It was never goodbye, but see you soon.
